Licensing
Create and manage licenses to control package access.
Overview
Licenses are the primary way to control who can access your packages. Each license generates a unique key that customers use to authenticate with your Privato registry.
Creating a License
To create a new license:
- Navigate to Licenses in your package dashboard
- Click New license
- Configure the license options
- Click Create
License Options
- Customer: The customer this license belongs to
- Key: The unique license key that the user enters to authenticate.
- Release channel: Pro and Business users can configure the "Release channel" the license should use.
- Expiration date: When the license should expire and become invalid.
